Amanda McDonald joined Penney Design Group in 2017 after years with the DC Preservation League, Washington’s only citywide nonprofit focused on historic preservation. There, she managed membership, events, educational programs, the website, and graphic design needs. Her background in administration, events, marketing, and preservation supports Penney Design Group’s operations and communications, bringing both organization and a creative eye to the team.
Ms. McDonald holds a BFA in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she worked on projects at Fort Jackson and researched the U.S. Treasury Department Customs building.
