Emily Kelly joined Penney Design Group in 2024, shortly after receiving her Master of Architecture at the University of Maryland in 2023. Her thesis focused on ecological conservation through an integrated approach, by designing a wildlife rehabilitation facility that also provided habitat for local wildlife. Her professional experience includes high-end single-family residential work as well as an internship with the firm in the Summer of 2022, where she worked on a variety of projects including automotive and multi-family residential.
Ms. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy, during which time she learned about sustainable design and became inspired to enter the field of architecture.
